Dualist Inquiry let me rummage around his family photos, pulling out bits of childhood memories in India. We were both drawn to this image of him running away from the camera on the beach, and we framed this by a cutout of him sitting cross-legged in a field. An image of him running into himself over and over again.

We imagined an eccentric family member, maybe a reclusive aunt or unassuming uncle, putting together a photo album of the family’s history. Explaining without words their place in the family tree with the abundant visual elements that have made up their life.
